salmonella are a common cause of food recalls. According to the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL), 35 recalls were arranged due to salmonella reports in 2023. This shows that companies are increasingly fulfilling their responsibility to take unsafe food from the market in order to protect consumers' health. Ultimately, responsibility lies with the manufacturers and expendors who have to ensure that their products comply with the legal regulations.

For questions about this recall, the employees of Wojnar are available at the email address office@wojnar.at . Customers are encouraged to see a doctor in the event of symptoms after eating a affected product to avoid more serious health problems.

Further information on food safety and recalls can be found on the portals of consumer protection organizations and food warnings. An upcoming new development of the Portal Food Warung.de is planned for summer 2024, which should offer consumers even more security in the future.
