Right -wing scene celebrates in Memmingen: Hasten cross seeds secured!

Schrebergartensiedlung, 87700 Memmingen, Deutschland - On June 7, 2025, an event declared as a private birthday party took place in a allotment grabbing in Memmingen, which, however, quickly became the focus of the public when a 21-year-old man from Vorarlberg raised a swastika flag. The police reported a large contingent on site, with extensive control measures being carried out to ensure security. Although the event was trouble -free according to initial knowledge, it is now being examined whether there was an obligation to register for the assembly, since the unregistered registration could be punished with a fine. The local police received support from the Bavarian riot police, which was also involved in the controls. The flag was secured and a report was filed against the man for the use of indicators of unconstitutional organizations.

like Merkur reported, despite its private declaration, the event was perceived as a meeting of the right scene. In the further investigations, both the state security and the criminal police in Memmingen have the task of examining the circumstances of the assembly.

right -wing extremism in focus

The incident is part of a worrying trend, because the personal potential of violent right-wing extremists in Germany has increased to around 15,300 people, as constitutional protection. In 2024, the entire right -wing extremist personal potential rose to 50,250 people, which means an increase of 9,650 people compared to 2023. This increase correlates with a significant increase in right-wing extremist criminal and violent acts, which were registered in 2024 to 37,835, which corresponds to an increase of 47.4 % for the previous year.

The increase in violent clashes with a xenophobic background is particularly alarming. In this way, assault offenses with such motivation increased by 4.8 % and xenophobic acts of violence by 5.4 %. This development is exploited by the AfD and other right -wing extremists, which use social issues, including the Middle East conflict, to propagate anti -migration and anti -Semitic positions.

The event in Memmingen is therefore not only an isolated incident, but also reflects an increasing problem in society, which is intensively observed by the police and the security authorities. It remains to be seen which further measures the authorities will take into account in response to the increasing activity of the right -wing scene.
