Ex-football star arrested in Vienna: fraud and embezzlement revealed!
A former Austrian football star caused a sensation in a dramatic case. The 33-year-old, who played for well-known clubs and represented the Austrian national team, has been in custody in Vienna since September 18. He is suspected of having committed serious commercial fraud and embezzlement. The Vienna public prosecutor's office has now legally charged with an estimated damage of 240,000 euros, for which the accused has to be responsible for, as reported.
The allegations are alarming: the ex-footballer is said to have made numerous victims false promises by lenting money and using it for supposed investments in internet currencies and luxury watches. However, many of the victims never saw their money again and were held up with various excuses. The Vienna State Criminal Police Office suspects that the number of those affected is much higher than before, and has called on the population to report. His escape ended at the airport in Germany, where the police were temporarily arrested after he was originally convicted of fraud in January 2024.

The once celebrated athlete has caused considerable financial damage with his activities that reach the higher six -digit range.
