BOKU Professor Krska wins Nils-Foss Exellence Prize for Food Safety!

BOKU Professor Rudolf Krska, influential figure in research on food safety, was awarded the prestigious Nils-Foss Excellence Prize 2024. This award, which is awarded at the University of Copenhagen and is endowed with 100,000 euros, recognizes its groundbreaking work on the development of new analysis methods, which improve both security and sustainability in the food production chain. Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner congratulated Krska and emphasized the importance of research and innovation for Lower Austria in order to be successful in international competition.
