Alarmstimmung beim SC Riessersee: Der Eishockeyclub hat 327 000 Euro Schulden angehäuft. Die letzte Rettung: Gesellschafter finden.
Es ist ein düsterer Zyklus, den der SC Riessersee stetig durchläuft. Blickt man allein nur auf die vergangenen drei Dekaden zurück, stößt man auf die Jahre 1996, 2004, 2010 (freiwilliger Rückzug in die Oberliga) und 2018. Was auffällt: Alle sechs bis acht Jahre erreichte der Eishockey-Traditionsclub einen finanziellen Status, mit dem es nicht weiter ging. Nun liegt der letzte Neustart sechs Jahre zurück – und wieder ist es schlecht um den SCR bestellt. Womöglich droht gar eine nächste Insolvenz. Der aktuelle Geschäftsführer Andreas Wieland gesteht: „Wir stehen mit dem Rücken zur Wand.“
Großteil der Schulden in der Saison 22/23 aufgebaut
Über die Jahre hat sich erneut ein mächtiger Berg an Schulden aufgebaut, einer der 327 000 Euro hoch ist. 200 000 Euro an Darlehen, 127 000 Euro sind offene Verbindlichkeiten. Der Großteil wurde seit der Saison 2022/23 angehäuft. „Davor war es beherrschbar“, unterstreicht Wieland. Ein Jahr nach der Geburtsstunde des „Projekts 2024“ sollte dieses weiter beschleunigt werden, man investierte mit Hauptsponsor tproneth als Anschieber kräftig in den Kader, schloss langfristige wie hoch dotierte Verträge. Das Budget – zuvor bei rund 1,5 Millionen Euro – wurde nochmals gesteigert auf 1,7 Millionen Euro. Das Tagblatt fragte vor dem Start der Spielzeit den damaligen Geschäftsführer Pana Christakakis im Interview, wie weit sich der SCR in puncto Finanzen aus dem Fenster lehnt, ob ein Geländer vorhanden sei. Die damalige Antwort: „Das Geländer ist da, das Risiko ist überschaubar.“ Wie sich jetzt herausstellt, war es nicht fachmännisch gesichert: Der SCR fiel von seinem Balkon hinein in den neuerlichen Schuldensumpf. Zugesicherte Ausgleichszahlungen blieben aus, fertig war bereits damals die Misere. „Man hat mehr Geld ausgegeben, als da war, um attraktiv zu bleiben“, sagt Wieland.
Weitere Verbindlichkeiten in der vergangenen Spielzeit
Entgegenzusteuern war vergangene Saison für die Verantwortlichen um Geschäftsführer Wieland nur mit Abstrichen möglich. Der Rucksack wurde voller und voller gepackt. Die langfristigen Verträge steuerten ihren Teil bei. Es wurde mit Sponsoreneinnahmen kalkuliert, die erst jetzt zur anstehenden Saison akquiriert werden konnten. Man versäumte es, bei allen angestiegenen Kosten mit den Sponsoren über einen Inflationsausgleich zu sprechen. Jeder Punkt eine weitere Schippe oben drauf auf den Schuldenberg, der dadurch um eine hohe fünfstellige Summe weiter anwuchs.
Kosten minimiert, Gehälter reduziert
Vor der am Freitag beginnenden Saison wurde mittels Rotstift entsprechend gestrichen, die Kosten minimiert, Gehälter reduziert. Der Spielerkader kostet den Club heuer rund 475 000 Euro, vergangene Saison waren es 582 000 Euro. Das Off-Ice-Team, also Trainer und Betreuer, ist mit rund 75 000 Euro veranschlagt, im Vorjahr war die Summe mehr als doppelt so hoch. Zudem generierte das GmbH-Team zehn neue Sponsoren mit einem gemeinsamen Investment von über 100 000 Euro. Auf der Gegenseite stehen aber auch 90 000 Euro Minus durch verlorene Gönner, darunter Hauptsponsor tproneth. Summa summarum: Die Rechnung geht weiter nicht auf. Allein in der Planung für die Saison 24/25 (insgesamt 1,35 Millionen Euro) fehlen 100 000 Euro.
SCR benötigt eine neue Struktur
All diese Zahlen und die Entstehungsgeschichte offenbarte der SCR am vergangenen Freitag den Sponsoren – zugleich auch die Idee, wie der Traditionsclub vor der nächsten Pleite bewahrt werden kann. Gelingen soll das mittels eines Gesellschafterkreises. Wieland stellt sich im Idealfall zehn Personen vor, die Anteile erwerben. „Es braucht eine gesunde Struktur, bei der man sagt: Wir machen das gemeinsam.“ In der Theorie ist das der Förderverein des SCR, der 90 Prozent der Anteile hält, doch der ist im Grunde ein Geist. Diverse Mitglieder sind bereits ausgetreten, auch der Vorsitzende Christian Schwinghammer (Geschäftsführer von tproneth). Entsprechend bedarf es eine neue, ein vor allem nachhaltigeres Konstrukt.
Gespräche mit Sponsoren
Jetzt sind aber nicht rein Geldgeber gesucht, sondern auch Leute, die mitarbeiten, die anpacken, die bewegen wollen. „Einige sind bereits auf uns zugekommen, die ihr Sponsoringvolumen erhöhen wollen“, verrät Geschäftsstellenleiter Sebastian Ziener. Weitere Gespräche sollen in dieser Woche stattfinden. Zudem will man rund um den Saisonstart nochmals mit Interessierten zusammenkommen, die helfen und anpacken möchten. „Damit wir in sechs Jahren nicht wieder so zusammenhocken, wie wir es jetzt tun, und darüber reden müssen“, bringt es der Sportliche Leiter Uli Maurer auf den Punkt. Damit der SCR diesen düsteren Zyklus durchbricht.
