Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - Greiner AG has a prominent newcomer on the board: Marcus Morawietz (57) will help shape the fortunes of the group of companies as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from May 15, 2025. Morawietz has more than 30 years of experience in the chemical and process industry and was most recently managing director and senior partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He will advance the further development of the Greiner Packaging, Neveon and Greiner Bio-One business areas, as Saori Dubourg, the CEO of Greiner AG, announced. Morawietz impresses with his dedicated knowledge in the field of commercial and operational excellence and will make a significant contribution to the implementation of the corporate strategy, says Dominik Greiner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Greiner AG.

With his impressive career, which includes stations in renowned consultations and global companies, Morawietz will play a crucial role in further consolidating the foundation of the Greiner Group. "His extensive experience with growth agents will help us achieve our strategic goals," Dubourg continues. Particular attention is paid to the optimization of sales and production processes, which should strengthen the entire value chain in the processing industry. Morawietz is also a doctorate in chemists and has completed his academic training at the Technical University of Munich.

Speaking of management: Hannes Moser, member of the board since 2011, contributes significantly to the financial management of Greiner AG by leading the areas of bookkeeping, finance and risk management. He is not only active on the company's board, but also on supervisory boards of the subsidiaries Greiner Bio-One International and Greiner Packaging International. Moser is also known as a volunteer of the organization "Small Hearts", who promotes children in need in Ukraine and Cambodia. He started his previous career at MiBa AG in 1992 and he quickly developed within the company structure.

The new occupation on the board shows the clear focus of Greiner AG on growth and innovation - a step that indicates the striving for an even stronger market position.
