A new star in the FinanzHimmel from Neu-Ulm! Gregor Kamp, the 51-year-old financial expert, was unanimously elected as the new city treasurer on November 6, 2024. The city council chose the experienced treasurer, who previously competed against 18 competitors in a tough competition. Kamp has an impressive career that has shaped him since 2010 as a treasurer and professional municipal council in the Upper Bavarian community of Gröbenzell.

With a degree in administrative sciences, business administration and business informatics, Kamp has the perfect basis for his new role. He started his career in the hospital examination and the Bavarian municipal examination association, which gave him valuable insights into the financial administration. Now he will take over the management of the tax authorities in Neu-Ulm and lead the Department for Finance, Real Estate Management and Economy.

Gregor Kamp succeeds Susanne Moroff, who tragically died in the middle of the year. His term of office begins on February 1, 2025 and is created for six years.
