A dramatic decline shakes the DAX! At 3:40 p.m., the German leading index in Xetra trading listed at 19,032.34 points and fell by 1.17 percent. The total value of the companies contained in the DAX amounts to shocking 1.838 trillion euros. On Thursday, the DAX started with a minus of 0.834 percent after it was closed the day before at 19,257.34 points.

The DAX today reached a low of 19,031.34 points and a high of 19,184.31 points. The index has already lost 2.54 percent for the beginning of the week. For comparison: On the last trading day in September, the DAX was still 19,324.93 points, while the year in July was recorded with 18,508.65 points. A look at the annual balance sheet shows that the DAX has so far fought its way up by 13.49 percent, with an annual high of 19,674.68 points and a low of 16,345.02 points.

The radiant winners, with gains from 1.63 percent to 141.98 euros and 0.30 percent to EUR 151.60. On the other hand, Zalando, Rheinmetall and Beiersdorf fight with significant losses, with Zalando fell by alarming 4.14 percent to 27.52 euros. Adidas also had to accept a decline from 2.26 percent to 215.80 euros.

Deutsche Bank stands out with the highest trading volume in the DAX: Over 2,739,857 stocks recently changed hands. SAP SE leads the ranking with a market capitalization of 257.553 billion euros. In addition, the Porsche Automobil VZ share with a price-profit ratio (KGV) of 2.66 and an expected dividend yield of 8.03 percent shows that it is a hot tip in the DAX.
