The BDK Baden-Württemberg mourns the loss of Ludwig Marz, who died on January 1 at the age of 78. Marz was a long -time national treasurer of the federal government (BDK) and had held the office since 1993. His entry into the BDK dates to 1983. During his term in office, Marz led the association through significant changes, including the relocation of the State Association from Freiburg to Stuttgart and the realignment of the state board.
Marz passed the BDK Baden-Württemberg over five election periods and ensured that the association's finances were solid. At his own request, he ended his active association work in 2013 after 20 years, but remained connected to the BDK. Most recently, in the summer of 2024 he took part in an excursion of the BDK pensioners to Ulm. general meeting 2010
As part of a general meeting of the BDK State Association of Baden-Württemberg, which took place on February 6, 2010 in Heidelberg, numerous important topics were dealt with. The meeting took place in the Prinzhorn collection and city library and attracted almost 40 members. One program item was the tour of the exhibition "Surrealism and Madness". Then the participants enjoyed a lunch together in the "Thanner" restaurant.
The general meeting lasted from 2:55 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. and was headed by a board, which included Hartmut Preuß, Nadine Lindenthal and Lutz Schäfer. The topics of the meeting included school policy and the music department. There was also a review of the publications and lectures of the past year. The current number of members was 420 after 45 new entrances. The cash report was presented by Georg Kerber and had previously been checked by Gunther Krieger. The board and the cash register were unanimously released, and Georg Kerber was elected as a delegate for the next general meeting.
