The director Houda Benyamina, who became famous by her award -winning film "Divines", ventures into a brave remake of the classic "The Three Musketeers" from 1844. In an original twist, these women wear mustache to stay loyal to their historical role models.
With fresh wind, Benyamina not only confuses the gender roles, but also the origin of the musketers! Among the performers are the Moroccan-born director, the Algerian-born actress Sabrina Ouazani, the Congolese Déborah Lukumuena, and Oulaya Amamra, also from Morocco, who is also the director's sister.
