On Saturday, November 16, a spectacular moment for the Wiesbaden fire brigade took place in the fire and rescue station 3 in Igstadt! Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende handed over new emergency vehicles worth around 2.4 million euros with pride. These vehicles are not only a sign of appreciation for the brave firefighters, but also an indispensable tool for the security of the city. "The colleagues of the fire brigade make an invaluable contribution to Wiesbaden's security - the right equipment is important," emphasized Mende and emphasized the importance of modern equipment.
The new vehicles are used for both use as well as for training and training the fire brigade. Andreas Kleber, the head of the Wiesbaden fire brigade, expressed his thanks for this future -oriented investment and praised the professional fire brigade for the procurement. "All vehicles are already on duty and have already provided effective help in the urban area," he added. The Wiesbaden fire brigade consists of 20 voluntary fire brigades that work tirelessly on a voluntary basis and are now even better equipped with these new vehicles.

- Three team transport cars (MTW) for the volunteer fire brigades Delkenheim, Medenbach, Sonnenberg and Stadtmitte
- Two Tanklösch vehicles 3000 (TLF 3000) for the volunteer fire brigades Breckenheim and Sonnenberg
- A fire engine 10 (LF 10) for the Bierstadt volunteer fire brigade
- A device car SRHT for the height and deep rescue group of the professional fire brigade
- A device car water rescue (GW-W) for the diving group of the professional fire brigade
