A dramatic traffic accident shook the quiet streets of Prenzlau on Friday evening! At the intersection Schwedter Straße and Paul-Glöde-Straße there was a serious collision when an 81-year-old Toyota driver overlooked a 22-year-old Ford driver when turning. The police confirmed that the young man was traveling inland when the misfortune happened.

The volunteer fire brigade was on the spotlight! As they carried out their training units, the rescuers rushed to look after the injured and to secure the scene of the accident. They took care of the vehicles, separated the batteries and ensured that no dangerous operating materials emit. A true hero use!
