Traffic accidents on the B 309: Fire Brigade Dietach in continuous use!

Dietach, Österreich - Dietach (Upper Austria) - The fire brigade Dietach again called a dramatic traffic accident on January 15, 2025. The fire brigade was alerted at around 12:48 p.m. after a car had strayed from the B 309 and headed head -on against the Grünbrücke 3 tunnel portal. The driver had already been released from the vehicle before the rescue workers arrived and was immediately provided by the emergency doctor. In order to ensure safety at the scene of the accident, the emergency services initiated a detour via Dietachdorf, while the federal road was completely blocked for about an hour. A towing company took over the rescue of the car.

But that was not the only incident in the region. Already on January 13th there was another traffic accident on the same federal road at 12:48 p.m. when a car on the so -called vineyard came off the road, broke through a wild fence and then overturned. Here, too, the handlebar was saved out of the car in good time and was treated by the emergency doctor. In cooperation with the police, the federal road was sealed off for the rescue work, and traffic was diverted through the municipal road network. The proper cleaning of the scene of the accident and the recovery of the wreck was also carried out by a towing company, and after a little more than an hour this assignment was ended.

Both missions impressively show the challenges with which the rescue workers are confronted. While the fire brigade Dietach and Steyr caused the safety of those involved in the accident through quick organization and effective action, road traffic was significantly impaired overall. The incidents on the B 309 illustrate the dangers that lurk in this area and the need for watchful driving.
