Tragic tractor accident in Lower Austria: driver is killed!
Weyersdorf, Österreich - A tragic accident shook the Lower Austria region on Monday afternoon: a tractor with a heavy trailer, loaded with tree trunks, lost control between Weyersdorf and Karlstetten and tipped into the adjacent trench. According to the police, the driver, a 64-year-old, tried to keep the vehicle on the street, but he could not prevent the accident. Both occupants were thrown out of the tractor vehicle in the incident, as the reported.
Despite the rapid rescue measures by the Samaritan Association Gansbach, the emergency doctor of the Red Cross St. Pölten and several fire brigade and police forces, any help came too late for the tractor driver. He was caught under the driver's cab and still succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
