Fulda, Deutschland - On January 5, 2025, a traffic accident occurred at around 11 a.m. on the L3174 between Niederbieber and Margretenhaun. A 23-year-old Opel Corsa driver from Tann lost control of her vehicle due to winter road conditions in a left turn. The Opel Corsa skidded, overturned and came to a standstill on an adjacent meadow.
The driver was caught in the car in the accident and had to be released by the fire brigade. After the rescue, she was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Fortunately, the 23-year-old suffered severe but not life-threatening injuries. The property damage at the Opel Corsa is estimated at around 5000 euros, the vehicle suffered total damage. The route was completely closed to rescue work from 11:45 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Numerous emergency services from the Petersberg Mitte, Haunedorf and Margretenhaun fire brigades were on site.

Ten emergency services from the Bad Homburg-Dornholzhausen volunteer fire brigade secured the scene of the accident and ensured fire protection.
