Snowmail accident: Seven children after Crash injured in the ski area!
A serious accident shook the idyllic Prebichl ski area in Upper Styria on Friday when a snowmobile collided with a bridge railing. A total of seven kindergarten children were injured in this incident, which were on the way to the so -called “children's country”. The children, all at the age of four to six years and mainly from Graz and the surrounding area, sat in a fan of the snowmobile, which was controlled by a 31-year-old ski instructor. The accident occurred around 10 a.m. when the driver transported the children on the route from the bus parking lot to their destination. According to the state police directorate, the collision with the railing was violent enough to cause injuries, as the Krone reported.
A five -year -old child suffered serious injuries and even had to be flown to the LKH Graz with a rescue helicopter, while six other children were treated with mild injuries in the hospitals Leoben and Kalwang. The driver of the snowmobile contracted bruises on the back, but all children wore a fall helmet at the time of the incident to minimize the danger. Just as the Orf , in addition to the helicopter team, two emergency doctors, twelve paramedics and the Vorernberg volunteer fire brigade were in use to help as soon as possible. The parents of the injured children were on the way to the hospitals with their children.
