Pöchlarn: Car ends up in the ditch - driver seriously injured!

In the night from Thursday to Friday, April 18, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred in Pöchlarn, Lower Austria. A car driver turned wrongly due to the cause of the previously unknown cause and drove to the area of the ÖBB wooden loading area, whereby the vehicle came off the fortified path and got into a ditch. The driver remained enclosed in the vehicle and could not get out independently. The emergency services were alerted shortly after midnight, the Pöchlarn volunteer fire brigade was used.

The fire brigade was able to free the driver from the vehicle. The Samaritan Association Pöchlarn immediately took over the initial care of the injured person, whose condition was indefinite.
