Lantern run in Sigmaringen: A festival for young and old!

Feuerwehrhaus, 72488 Sigmaringen, Deutschland - A radiant festival of the lights illuminated Sigmaringen! The volunteer fire brigade organized its eagerly awaited lantern run last Saturday. The starting signal from the fire station, which is picturesque on the right of the Danube, was given on time at 5:30 p.m. The participants made their way towards the castle and then return to the starting point on the left side of the Danube. A truly magical sight when the lanterns glowed at dusk!

A highlight of the evening was the performance of the Spielmannszug, which accompanied the runners with festive music. The first appearance of five talented young players who demonstrated their skills and delighted the audience was particularly exciting. The atmosphere was permeated with joy and community spirit, while the fire brigade comrades spoiled the visitors with delicious sausages, freshly baked waffles as well as mulled wine and punch.

The combination of festive music, delicious food and the magical backdrop made this evening an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
