Stuhr (Gemeinde Stuhr), Deutschland - On December 23, 2024, a young woman was reported in St. Ulrich as missing. At 6:14 a.m., the authorities alerted several fire brigades, including St. Ulrich, Kleinraming, Ebersegg and Garsten. Thanks to the cell phone data, the search area could be limited quickly, and around 7:00 a.m. there was the redeeming news: the missing person was found. It suffers from hypothermia, but is otherwise unharmed. A total of 65 firefighters from different units and five police patrols were on duty to find the woman. After about an hour the successful search was ended, reported several fire brigade operations in the region

In the past few days there have been further missions in the region. On December 21, 2024, the fire brigade in Moordeich had to extinguish a garbage can fire. Before that, on December 20, the Groß Mackenstedt fire brigade had to intervene on the A1 motorway when a car opened there. This shows the persistent burden on the rescue workers, which must be on hand in different emergencies. According to Stuhr fire brigade, several fires and emergencies occurred in a short time that required the fire brigade quickly.
