Söll heroic deeds: Young people saved from drowning!

In Söll, two first -class missions by the volunteer fire brigade cause excitement. At first a terrace of a residential building burned, but the 40 fire brigade forces were quickly on hand. According to 5min.at , the fire was quickly deleted, which could prevent spreading to other parts of the building. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but property damage occurred in the living room, the exact height of which is still unknown. The investigation into the cause of the fire is already underway.

While the fire brigade was already busy, a dramatic incident occurred at the Söller Moorsee. On August 26, the fire brigade was alerted to a search operation in which a young person was missing. As Einsatzfoto.at , the team initially searched with thermal cameras and a drone until the cousins Alexander and Marco Zott discovered the helpless youth in the water. They did not hesitate and bravely jumped into the lake to save him. Other firefighters were already waiting on the bank to supply the rescue service they had arrived. Commandant Deputy Bernhard Sallegger praised the courage and the skill of his young comrades, who successfully implemented their training and saved a life at this critical moment.
