Haaner fire brigade honors heroes: great honors and promotions!

On Friday evening, January 10, 2025, the New Year's reception of the Haan fire brigade took place. Deputy military director Ulf Dalkmann reported on the impressive record of the past year: A total of 5,561 missions were recorded, including 3,586 emergency operations, 1,243 ambulances, 145 fire operations and 576 technical assistance. The head of the fire brigade, Stefan Longerich, welcomed those present and spoke about basic topics of the fire brigade.

The focus of the reception was appointments, honors and promotions. New firefighters who have been appointed are Julia Cavallin, Dominik Cavallin, Tom Felber, Felix Gallant, Janka Kirchhoff, Luisa Meyer, Vanessa Packeren, Tim Pichtemann, Philipp Seidel and Arne Walter. Leon Herring was promoted to chief firefighter, while Patrik Greverath, Paul Kirchhoff and Sebastian Narjes were appointed under fire masters. Guido Brandenstein and Jan Sievers received the degree of chief fire chief, and Lena Wieland was promoted to the main fire chief.
