Great fire in Lustenau: Recycling operation in flames, fortunately no injuries!
Lustenau, Österreich - On April 16, 2025 at 7:55 p.m., a major fire broke out in the recycling company Loacker Recycling GmbH in Lustenau. According to Fireworld , the fire began in a woodchnot deposit, the cause of which is previously unknown. The fire spread quickly to the entire building, but fortunately the fire brigade could be contained at an early stage. By rapid use of the rescue workers, spreading to the surrounding outbuildings could be prevented.
During the operation, a total of around 140 emergency services were on site, including 86 firefighters from the Lustenau fire brigade and support units from Dornbirn, Höchst, Fußach, Altach and Hörbranz. Six vehicles from the Austrian Red Cross were ready to support, while the police accompanied the operation with six strips of the federal police.no injured people and no dangers for the residents
