On Saturday evening, January 11, 2025, a dangerous incident occurred in the village of Pranzen in Andorf: a glow fire broke out in the workshop of a 76-year-old hobby-drug. Thanks to the quick reaction and the coordinated use, the fire could be quickly brought under control. Only low property damage occurred, and luckily nobody was injured. After intensive two hours, the use of the approximately 50 firefighters who were supported by the police and the rescue workers of the Red Cross could successfully end. The official cause of the fire is still unclear, but is assessed at a short circuit at the turning bench, such as fireworld.at .
