Fire brigade festival in Oberharmersbach: Over 500 guests celebrate with applause!

Over 500 fire fighters from the Ortenaukreis celebrated a grand meeting in the Reichstalhalle Oberharmersbach! Mayor Richard Weith was enthusiastic about the high number of participants and said: "The numerous appearance of the age comrades is an honor for the municipality of Oberharmersbach." The event, which started at 2:00 p.m., was a feast for camaraderie, organized by the fire brigade Oberharmersbach, which ensured excellent hospitality.

The moderators Evelyne Pfundstein and Thomas Roth led through the afternoon with wit and charm. The highlights were the appearances of the youth wind orchestra of the Miliz and Trachtenkapelle Oberharmersbach as well as the spectacular performances of the Circus Funtasto, who delighted the audience with their skills. The stormy applause of the over 500 guests was the reward for the talented children who captivated the audience with their tricks.

a new president and a look at the future

An important moment of the afternoon was the idea of Michael Wegel as the new president of the State Fire Brigade Association. The deputy district association chairman Stefan Possler excused Wegel, who could not be present due to other events. In addition, the new circular chairman Clemens Leistler was presented, who took a minute of commemoration for his late predecessor Helmut Steimel. The event also offered an outlook on the new fire brigade calendar 2025, whose proceeds from the social fund of the fire brigade association will benefit.

The event ended with the traditional Badnerlied, which was sung with Herbert Jilg musical accompanied. An unforgettable afternoon full of emotions, memories and community spirit, which impressively demonstrated the importance of the fire brigade comradeship!
