On Saturday, the Kaufbeuren fire department was called twice for missions. The first alarm occurred early in the morning on Karl-Heilmeier-Straße. There, the fire alarm system of a company area had triggered an alarm shortly after 6 a.m. An automatic detector in a hall, which was the upper floor of the suction, led to the alarm of the emergency services. During the review, it turned out that a light hydraulic oil fog in the entire hall was perceptible. The operator of the site immediately initiated large -scale natural ventilation. The fire brigade ensured that there was no further danger and reset the fire alarm system. The entire use lasted 1 hour and 14 minutes and mobilized 17 Kaufbeuren fire brigade with several vehicles.

In the afternoon there was another assignment in Hirschzell, where the fire brigade had to provide technical help. A tree with a diameter of 15 cm and a length of 8 m blocked the footpath on Bärenseestrasse. The emergency services removed the tree with a saber saw, which could quickly be cleared again. This assignment took 41 minutes and was carried out by 6 firefighters from the Hirschzell local fire brigade.
