Fire in underground car park: large evacuation in the Caritas dormitory in Vienna!

in Vienna-Donaustadt broke out a fire in an underground car park above the Caritas dormitory "Haus Noah", which put several cars on flames. At around 6 p.m., a car ignited and the fire quickly spread to two more vehicles. Due to the strong smoke development, large parts of the facility had to be evacuated, but fortunately there were no injuries. The fire brigade promptly reacted with over 70 emergency services and 20 vehicles and was able to quickly extinguish the fire using several extinguishing lines under breathing protection, as use of the fire brigade in Berlin

A similar misfortune occurred in the Kreuzberg Berliner, where a fire also broke out in an underground car park. On Monday morning at 6:30 a.m., the firefighters were alerted and fought for hours against the flames that affected a total of six cars. The use was extremely challenging, since heat and smoke could hardly be removed. Over 100 firefighters and 36 vehicles were on site, but no injuries were reported there either. It is currently being checked whether the residents of the residential building above have to be temporarily recovered due to possible damage to the power supply, as well as rbb24 reported.
