Dramatic traffic accident in Zwettl: Fire brigade saves injured!

Gerotten, Österreich - on December 25, 2024, shortly before midnight, there was a serious traffic accident between two cars on the state road L67, near Gerotten. According to the fireworld.at report, the volunteer fire brigades Zwettl-Stadt, Gerotten and Großglobnitz were alerted by Florian Zwettl after the collision took place. Unfortunately, the vehicle leaders suffered injuries to an indefinite degree and were quickly taken care of by the paramedics of the Red Cross Zwettl before they were brought to a nearby clinic.

The fire brigade had their hands full after the accident was released by the police. The Florian disciples cleaned the trace of the rubble and earth and secured the site. A powerful crane was used to recover the damaged vehicles. A car was recovered with the Wlfa-K crane, while the second vehicle was loaded onto a towing trailer by the armor Zwettl, as also reported FF.Wettl.at. The rescue and cleaning work was completed at around 01:16, so that the emergency services could move back into their armory.

It remains unclear why this accident occurred, but it was shown that the collaboration between the emergency services worked well and all measures were taken quickly. The quick reaction of the fire brigade and the Red Cross contributed significantly to bringing the situation under control and soon enabled the flow of traffic on the L67.
