Drama in Vienna: Daughter lived next to her father's body for months!

In a shattering incident in Vienna favorites, a 51-year-old woman was saved by the fire brigade and police in a community apartment after living next to her father's body for weeks. The 80-year-old man had apparently lost life about a month ago, unnoticed by the neighborhood. A call for help from Slovakia, where a second daughter lives, finally led to this dramatic effort. This daughter was worried because since the turn of the year there was no contact with the senior and his daughter in need of care. In order to clear up the concerns, she alerted the authorities, as kleine newspaper reported.

On the evening of February 8, the fire brigade and police moved after the urgent call for help. When the emergency services opened the door to the apartment, they were greeted by a strong smell of decay. In the bedroom they found the father's body, which was already very decayed. Next to him was the heavily emaciated and dehydrated daughter. According to reports, it would only have been a question of days until she too died if it hadn't been helped. The 51-year-old was immediately cared for and taken to a hospital. External debt at the death of the senior was excluded by the police, as, among other things, 5 minutes

The tragic circumstances of this incident throw a bright light on the loneliness and helplessness that many people experience in urban areas, while at the same time pointing out the urgent need to pay attention to the signs that could indicate the emergency situations of relatives.
