Drama in Tyrol: Farm fire destroys the stable - residents and cows saved!
On Saturday afternoon, March 29, 2025, a serious fire broke out on a farm in Westendorf, in the Tyrolean Brixental. According to Kleine Zeitung inflamed the fire in the area of the stable, which burned completely. While the fire was badly damaged by the roof of the adjacent farmhouse, all six residents of the courtyard and around 30 cows were brought to safety.
The extinguishing work proved to be challenging and took until the early hours. Around 180 firefighters from Westendorf and the surrounding communities were on duty to control the fire. The authorities give all -clear: there were no injuries.
