Drama in Mendig: Young people fall into deep shaft and have to be saved!

drastic scenes in Mendig "in striker"! The police were called for a spectacular rescue operation on Sunday evening. At 7:00 p.m., a patrol car crew from the Mayen police noticed two young people on a small sky and a light -on wheel that drove through the streets breathtakingly quickly. But instead of stopping, the drivers looked for the width! The police did everything possible to stop the racing drivers, but they left their machines back on the edge of the forest and fled into the night.

Just ten minutes later, the phone rang in the integrated control center - the three young men, aged 16 to 19, contacted themselves with a shocking emergency call: they had fallen into a shaft several meters deep and urgently needed help! The surrounding alarm led to a large -scale use of the fire brigade, emergency services and mountain rescue service. The team fought until around 11 p.m. to free the injured from their predicament.

The rescue was dramatic! The three men were partly flown to different hospitals with a helicopter. One of the young people suffered the most serious head injuries, while the other two also wore heavy injuries. Investigators are in the floating about the exact course and the details of the incredible incident, since the Mayen criminal and police inspection continues the investigation. But one thing is certain: the shaft in question in which the perpetrators plunged is more than 20 meters deep - a truly life -threatening situation!
