Drama in the morning: Fortunately, family after accident in the Miesenbach!
In the early morning hours of March 1, 2025, around 4.40 a.m., a dramatic traffic accident occurred on Vorauer Strasse in the Weiz district. A 47-year-old woman was traveling from Birkfeld by car when she came off the road due to a sudden sleep. Despite the dangerous situation, her vehicle crashed into a guiding rail and then plunged into the Miesenbach, as orf.at reported.
Fortunately, the vehicle occupants, including the 49-year-old husband and 20-year-old daughter, were able to free himself from the car and alert the rescue workers. All three members of the family suffered minor injuries and were then brought to the Weiz State Hospital. The Birkfeld volunteer fire brigade was in action and bored the vehicle from the stream. According to the police, there was no alcoholization of the driver, so that she could attribute other causes such as tiredness to the accident, as well as reported.| Details | |
