Bomb threat in Chur: Police evacuate schools and gives the all -clear!

On Thursday afternoon, February 7, 2025, a dramatic police operation occurred in Chur due to a bomb threat at the KV Business School. At around 3:30 p.m., the Graubünden cantonal police received a threat transmitted by email, which led to the immediate evacuation of the school and the nearby primary school house Nikolai. Several dozen emergency services from the cantonal police and the Chur city police were immediately on site. They received support from four dog handlers with explosives detection dogs, including two from St. Gallen. The fire brigade Chur and the emergency services also supported the emergency services who were looking for the suspicious objects. After several hours of intensive searches, the police were finally able to give the all -clear at 8:45 p.m.: No suspicious objects were found and the barriers were canceled.
