Advent markets in Allensbach: mulled wine and gifts for everyone!
In the first week of December, two impressive events in Austria and Germany experienced, which significantly shaped the festive atmosphere of the Advent season. On Saturday, November 30th, the Allensbach Christmas market took place on Rathausplatz, where numerous handmade products were offered from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Organized by the Fishing Sports Association Allensbach (ASV), which organized this market for the third time, 29 stands offered a variety of homemade treats and Christmas articles. The innovation particularly caught eye: 1500 blue cups with the imprint "Allensbach Christmas market", which could be taken as a souvenir. For three euros each pawn, visitors were able to enjoy this unique mulled wine bar, said the chairman Björn Zimpel.
At the same time, the Perchtenlauf celebrated success in the City Center Schrems. From 5 p.m., the guests were able to enjoy mulled wine, punch and various dishes. Around 130 participants gathered in the cultural center to prepare for the event before presenting their colorful cladding at the Pizzeria Casanova. With the support of the Schrems fire brigade, the move was ensured and an orderly implementation, which gave the event a special note. Both events enjoyed great popularity and attracted numerous visitors who enjoyed the festive atmosphere.
a pre -Christmas experience
The joy of celebrating together was in the foreground both at the Christmas market in Allensbach and the Perchtenlauf in Schrems. The Christmas market not only offered mulled wine and punch, but also many craftsmanship products, from Advent arrangements to candles to delicious cookies. The ASV made sure that the stands were mainly operated by private individuals and not by commercial dealers. This increased the sense of community and the connection to the region.
While the visitors in Allensbach were able to celebrate until 8 p.m., there was also the option for a later extension, provided that there was demand. The ASV wanted to ensure that everyone can enjoy the festive atmosphere, while the Perchten run also symbolized the ceremonial transition to the Advent season. Such events are not only an excellent way to experience conviviality, but also help to keep the regional traditions alive, such as suedkurier.de . In Schrems, this was underlined by the colorful diversity and the festive mood, completely in the sense of the Advent season.
