New wind at the Salzburg Festival: Axel Hiller becomes a concert leader!

A new chapter for the Salzburg Festival: Axel Hiller will be the new head for "concert and media" from May 1, 2025. He follows Florian Wiegand, who takes over the management of the Munich Philharmonic. Hiller, who already worked in the Festival concert office from 2016 to 2020, brings extensive experiences from various leading positions.
