Chaos in France: Marine Le Pen uses the political crisis for her agenda!
France is head! In a dramatic political chess game, the right and left parties together brought the government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier. "You chose the chaos," said President Emmanuel Macron in a gripping speech to the nation. The reason? A bitter dispute over the social budget that places the country into a political crisis - and for the second time this year!
The decision to bring in a vote of no confidence was presented by the opposition parties to improve the well -being of French citizens. But the reality looks different: France now has no budget for 2025 and political paralysis could play the right -wing extremist racial (marginal) of Marine Le Pen!
le Pens strategy: chaos as an opportunity
Marine Le Pen, who tirelessly works to establish her party as a serious political force, could capitalize on this crisis. The RN, known for its anti-immigrant and racist positions, had received the most votes in the first ballot in the last elections in July. But the left alliance, the new Volksfront (NFP), grabbed most of the seats and presented Le Pen with a new challenge.
"The wave rises", Le Pen said at the time. "This time it is not high enough, but our victory has only been postponed." Now, in the middle of the political chaos, she could use the favor of the hour to gain more public support. Experts believe that the RN could strengthen their position by supporting the vote of no confidence against Barnier.
The demands of the RN and the reaction Barnier
The RN had asked for Barnier to increase state pensions in his budget and to reduce the cuts in medical reimbursements. However, Barnier refused to negotiate and tried to enforce the budget without coordination in parliament. As a result, the RN decided to support the NFP's vote of no confidence. "We censored this budget policy to protect the French," said Le Pen on French television.
Jordan Bardella, the President of the RN and often referred to as Le Pens Schützling, added: "We protected the country from a budget that is targeting the companies." But the political opponents agree: Barnier was "in the service of the extreme right" and was discontinued because he did not deliver the desired results.
"Hope is that Macron will now take over all of her political demands," warned Amine Snoussi, a political advisor to the left -wing party La France Insoumise. Public unrest could play Le Pen in the cards while the voters are looking for stability.
"If the established forces manage to react to central issues such as health, security and business, the Le Pens disruptive strategy could put a blow," said Adam Hsakou from German Marshall Fund.
Le Pen, who has been looking at the Élysée Palace for years, reached the second round in the last presidential election, but lost to Macron. It now has to satisfy its populist basis and the moderate voters, while at the same time maintaining their anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim positions.
"Le Pen has positioned itself well in the political game of France," says Jacob Ross, an expert in French politics. But this could also appear as a "traitor" of her populist voters, which could endanger her support.
"Le Pen knows that her lawsuit could prevent her from the next presidential elections. Therefore, political instability is just right," explains Soussi. She could hope for an early choice, while Macron is determined not to resign.
"Le Pen is far from being a woman of the people," says Jonathan Machler from the France Communist Party. "She prefers to watch away from afar while others fail, even if that harms the French." The political future remains uncertain, while voters hope for stability and the RN grows in the shadows of the current turbulence.
