Hünfeld, Deutschland - The European Union District Association Fulda-Hünfeld has reorganized! At the latest general meeting, the course was set for a dynamic future. With fresh wind and new faces on the board, including the new chairman, Mayor Benjamin Tschesnok, the association promises exciting developments for Europe.

Tschesnok, who takes the lead, is made by Andreas Scheibelhut and Dr. Sebastian Koch supported as a deputy. Dr. Peter Schaub takes over the office of treasurer, while Esther Schmitt-Eckart and Philipp Kratzer act as assessors. Susanne Schreiber remains the managing director and ensures that the association continues to work efficiently. Scheibelhut recently won the office of deputy state chairman of the European Union Hessen with an impressive result-further proof of the strong position of the district association!

In retrospect of the European election year, Tschesnok emphasized the large number of activities that have stimulated the association: from panel discussions to the purchase of their own EU information stand to public events. Particular attention is paid to the recruitment and preparation for the Bundestag election 2025, for which two events are already planned to illuminate the topic of Europe.

A highlight will be a panel discussion with the Bundestag candidates under the moderation of Dr. Volker nies. In addition, the district association will also actively accompany the "European school competition" in the future, with award ceremonies in the town hall of Hünfeld and in the Fulda City Palace. The new board is full of enthusiasm and willing to inspire the citizens for the European idea!
