Putin announces short Easter vacation in the Ukraine conflict

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a short “Easter fire break” in his war against Ukraine. He explained that "all hostilities" will pause for a period of two days.

Putin announced that the Russian fighting on Saturday, 6 p.m. Moscow Zeit (11 a.m.) until Monday midnight (Sunday, 5 p.m. ET) should be stopped.
