Austria's JJ inspires Wasted Love in the ESC final 2025!
On May 15, 2025, the second semi -finals of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025 took place in the St. Jakobshalle in Basel. Austria's candidate JJ was able to convince with his emotional counter ballad "Wasted Love" and thus secured a ticket for the final next Saturday, May 17, 2025.
The semi-finals were eagerly awaited because there was both a public and a jury. In contrast to previous years, jury voting in the semi -finals in 2023 was abolished, which changed the dynamics of the vote.
