A scandal in the football world: Mathias Pogba, the brother of the French football world champion Paul Pogba, was sentenced to three years in prison for attempted extortion, which was suspended for two years. The main accused, Routhdane K., was sentenced to eight years in prison, while the other perpetrators received punishments between three and eight years. According to the
Pogba, who won the world championship with France in 2018, is now without a club after Juventus and he had decided on an amicable dissolution of his contract until 2026. Despite the legal disputes associated with his suspension, Pogba has the hope of returning to the field next March.
