Drug baron dead: Dutch shot in Mexico!
An important drug dealer in Europe has been found dead: The 32-year-old Dutch, who was at the top of the European search list, was shot on Thursday in Atizapán de Zaragoza, a place near the Mexican capital Mexico City. This was confirmed by experts, as the AFP news agency reported. The man was internationally searched for because of drug trade, especially because of the smuggling of cocaine from Brazil.
In 2014 and 2015, together with accomplices, he is said to have smuggled an estimated 400 kilograms of cocaine to Europe, with the drugs in containers hidden that were filled with pineapple. According to Europol, he was sentenced to more than seven years in prison in October 2020. In order to escape arrest, he had used reports to use the rivalries between different drug gangs in Mexico to pretend his own death.
