Wolfgang Urbantschitsch was appointed as the new professor at the Department of Public Law and Tax Law at the Vienna University of Economic Affairs. Born in Graz in 1969, Urbantschitsch has extensive expertise in the field of energy law. After studying law at the Karl-Franzens University Graz and the University of Regensburg as well as his specialization in European law at the College of Europe in Bruges, he has held various scientific and administrative positions. This is intended to arouse the interest of the students in the topic of energy. His work as a professor will therefore be of great relevance not only in the academic field, but also for the practical implementation of energy law issues in order to develop fair solutions for the upcoming transition to renewable energy.
