Children's mayor re -elected: Graz relies on young voices!
Rathaus Graz, Graz, Österreich - The re -election of the children's mayor and the children's mayor in Graz provided great pleasure! Ten -year -old Fabian and the eleven -year -old Fabienne were officially appointed on March 10 in a ceremony in the town hall of Graz. Over 3,100 children up to 14 years of age have participated in the election of the children's mayor, which is a new record. The Mayor of Graz Elke Kahr (KPÖ) underlined the importance of participating children and young people in the city and estimated the commitment of the children's parliament. At the event it was clearly felt on how impressed Kahr was of the energy and passion of the young people: "Congratulations to Fabienne and Fabian for re -election! I am really looking forward to further cooperation with you," she said. Other dignitaries such as Vice Mayor Judith Schwentner and City Councilor Kurt Hohensinner expressed their joy about the children's commitment and emphasized the quality of their ideas.
