A 38-year-old Carinthian had to answer again in court after he had committed several fraud, which led to an estimated damage of around 60,000 euros. The man, who has already had several criminal records, had pretended to sell tickets for sold -out concerts and sporting events. These scams went back to scam until 2009, when he started, with fake offers for expensive red wine. Judge Michaela Sanin found that despite his previous convictions, the criminal energy of the 38-year-old remained unbroken. "Even after their conviction, they immediately got back into fraud," she warned him. In addition, the man admitted his gambling addiction as a driving force for his actions, which did not bring him a milder look from the judge, as ORF reported.

In a parallel legal dispute, ex-Minister Karl-Heinz Grasser was on trial. He was convicted of infidelity and forgery of evidence. The judge Marion Hohenecker found that the severe allegations, which were able to draw up to 15 years in prison, were underpinned by the extensive evidence. Other participants, including ex-FPÖ general secretary Walter Meischberger, were also convicted together with Grasser. According to Hohenecker, Grasser met a "hidden commission agreement" with tenants as part of Buwog privatization and thus misused the money of the Republic of Austria. The statement is particularly revealing that over 125 tickets were sold during its fraud machine, which significantly increases the damage. Prosecutor Barbara Baum pointed out that the sale of tickets for future concerts by Billie Eilish was also part of his stitch. He created further resentment with the fake offers, since the actual concert will only take place months later.
