Now, a good half a year later, the Ravensburg district court speaks a shocking judgment: the 35-year-old perpetrator, a mentally ill man with Syrian and Dutch citizenship, has to be accommodated in a psychiatry. The details of the attack are shattering. With a black kitchen knife, the perpetrator stabbed the helpless girl at least three times, while her desperate mother fought her life and tried to tear the knife out of the attacker's hand. The perpetrator could only be overwhelmed with the help of another customer. The shattering statement of the mother, who described the dramatic minutes under tears, leaves a lasting impression: "Mommy!" Had just screamed before it collapsed. Thanks to an emergency operation, the girl could be saved.
