On Saturday evening, the Bentheimer Wald rest area experienced an impressive police campaign on the A30 motorway! The Autobahn police of the Emsland/Grafschaft Bentheim police inspection, supported by the federal police, carried out comprehensive control, which lasted until late at night. The goal? Prevent and uncover crime!

Visitors to the rest area could not feel safe, because the police controlled 196 vehicles and 272 people. And the yield was remarkable: 30 grams of marijuana and two dangerous knives were secured! A total of ten leaders of vehicles were under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A blood sample was immediately ordered and the onward journey was prohibited. In addition, the police caught three drivers who were traveling without a valid driver's license. A clear warning shot that illegal behavior is not tolerated on the streets!
