drama in Essen! On Monday morning (November 18) a shocking incident was reported to Lützowstrasse corner on Freistein when a 31-year-old man from Düren attacks his own cousin with a knife! What started as a relaxed path to a breakfast restaurant suddenly turned into a nightmare. Suddenly the attacker, an Afghan citizen, moved his knife without warning and stabbed his 36-year-old cousin.

The brave cousin, also Afghan citizen, was able to defend himself and he managed to overwhelm the attacker. He recorded the 31-year-old until the police arrived. The seriousness of the victim's injuries required immediate medical treatment in a hospital, but fortunately there was no danger to life. The suspect was temporarily arrested and is presented to a judge today - this is not a everyday turn for a Monday!

The Essen police have set up a homicide commission because the circumstances of the attack are extremely questionable.
