Growth or uncertainty? German companies in strategic dilemma!

Deutschland - The current study of the strategy consultancy TTE strategy Halighth accuses the ambivalent location of German companies. Despite a pronounced urge to grow, many managers will feel massive uncertainties in strategic planning for the coming years. While 55% of the C-Level Executives surveyed have a strong growth focus by 2025, every fourth company remains without a clear direction for 2025. The challenges are great: 40% of the companies have not yet formulated a clear strategy by 2030. These uncertainties arise in particular due to increasing transformation pressure in areas such as digitization, sustainability and new business models.

As from the survey, in which 120 managers of leading companies from Germany and Switzerland participated, 61% of companies have requested external support to meet the challenges of the transformation. Lars Linnekogel, Managing Director at TTE Strategy, makes it clear that companies need practical strategies to master the complexity of the market changes and at the same time to meet the needs of their customers. A structured approach is becoming more and more important: 89% of the participants considered a well -structured strategy program to be decisive in order to achieve transparency and efficiency in their corporate strategy.

In addition, the respondents identify several success factors for sustainable growth: market understanding and customer orientation are considered significantly with 43%, a clear vision and objectives with 40% and effective risk management with 38%. Agility and quick decision -making are other key points that could help companies secure long -term successes. Despite all the challenges, 91% of managers express optimistic or very optimistic views of the future development of their companies.
