Animal rights activist under pressure: Why do the dogs stay in the yard despite the deadline?

Landesbergen. Shocking developments at an animal protection farm: Felicia Luckert (38) has long exceeded! The excitement is great, because the veterinary office has been calling for Luckert's animals since September, which has so far not taken any measures. The Facebook page of the animal protection courtyard is literally showered with pictures of the dogs-a sight that raises questions!

According to the Veterinary Office, Luckert's license has not been valid since March, which means that it is illegally holding dogs. "There was no urgent application, so that the plaintiff currently has no permission to keep, spend and introduce dogs," confirms the press spokeswoman for the Hanover Administrative Court, Nassim Eslami. Luckert himself fought legally against the withdrawal of her license, but without success. The pressure on the animal rights activist increases because the veterinary office asks her to act immediately and hand it over.

A case for data protection

But what happens if-as feared by the neighbors-the dogs are still kept under questionable conditions in the yard? The district spokesman Marc Ripke explains that the further procedure is decided individually and that the veterinary office cannot provide any further information on specific cases based on data protection. Local residents like Felix Hemfort are concerned about it, since in their view, Luckert is not up to such allegations.

The serious accusations of the cruelty to animals buzz through the village-and while Luchert rejects it, other neighbors question the conditions at the animal protection courtyard and urgently demand measures and transparency. It remains to be seen how the veterinary office will react to independent information, because animal welfare injuries are a serious topic that cannot be ignored!
