Students from Weimarer Land compete in the robotics competition in Apolda!
Apolda. An exciting event is imminent! On Friday, November 15th, the Apolda City Library will be transformed into a creative laboratory for young inventors. The “Long Night of Sciences” brings the best students in primary schools in Wickerstedt, Isseroda and the Christian-Zimmermann School together to demonstrate their skills in a gripping robot competition.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the small engineers will construct robots in just 90 minutes according to special requirements. But that's not all! After the construction, the students can evaluate their own creations and show what they have learned. This exciting challenge is the result of a workshop lasting several days, which was carried out in cooperation with the city, district and driving library and Frank Beinersdorf by the Erfurt school research center. Here the children experimented with digital technology and further developed their skills in tinkering and building.
invitation to all curious!
The Apolda City Library opens its doors to everyone interested who want to take a look at the creative work of the students. Be there when the future of engineering in Apolda is brought to life! Do not miss the opportunity to see the little developers in action and be inspired by their inventory spirit.
