The owner of the Spa and golfersort, Matthias Grafe, has big plans: he wants to make his hotel a sporty home of the DFB team. After an impressive training camp in the summer, in which everyone involved completely feels comfortable, Grafe presented his vision to the German Football Association (DFB).

Grafe plans to build a sports hotel that should be equipped with all the necessary facilities for a soccer team. The background? The DFB has not extended its contract with Adidas and could therefore be forced to leave the training camp at the previous location in Herzogenaurach. A move to Blankenhain could be the perfect solution to optimally prepare the national team for their international matches.
